It would've been interesting if somehow Luke could've interacted at least briefly with Padme. It would be a very emotional moment for both of them, especially if she was made aware of his identity. Along the same lines, If you're looking for other ideas, I'd like to humbly suggest swapping out Luke for Leia in a similar scenario. It may not be as straightforward, since even if given the opportunity, Leia is much less likely to consider him worth saving, but it might still work given the right circumstances. Maybe it's a sort of bargain with the Force. It'll give her the chance to save Alderaan, but only if she can muster enough clemency to also save her young father as the means to that end. Or maybe she acts indirectly through her mother, tipping Padme off at a crucial moment so she can steer Anakin away from the Dark Side. Just food for thought in case you're looking for it.

Not on the story at hand, but I love how the profecy of the chosen one says he will bring balance to the force. Balance is not the light side or the dark side, but the gray. Now in this story, I like to think that Anakin mastered the gray in his years in exile

Grevious coming back in the way he did was a really cool twist! I feel like there was a bit of a missed opportunity for a really emotionally charged scene with Rex dying in front of Ahsoka, but the rest of that outcome probably would have been too similar to canon. At the end of ROTJ after Darth Vader died and Anakin's spirit appears next to Yoda and Obi-Wan, does anyone else think that Padme and Qui-Gon should be added to the scene in a re-release of ROTJ in the future? Since Sebastian Shaw was replaced with Hayden Christensen in later releases of ROTJ for that scene and since Natalie Portman and Liam Neeson are still alive it could still be possible to update it.

Basically the plan is like the Rebels vs. Empire with the CIS's civilians being revealed as the true force of the confederacy not the droids like the Rebellion being revealed with just people without droids fighting for them
